Eye and Ear protection is REQUIRED

Rimfire gets its name because the firing pin strikes the rim of the base of the brass casing. Examples include .17, .22 short, and .22 long. Rimfire cartridges are limited to low pressure calibers because they require a thin case so that the firing pin can crush the rim and ignite the primer.

BB and air guns ARE allowed on the Rimfire Range and Plinking Pit. 

You may NOT shoot any centerfire guns on these ranges. This means NO centerfire rifles, pistols, shotguns, or black powder guns.  Anyone shooting these firearms on these ranges will be expelled from RCGC.

Rimfire Benchrest shooting is a perfect starting point for anyone interested in learning to shoot; men, ladies and young people. Blake Gann will provide education, go over the rules, answer all of your questions and give you a chance to practice. Rimfire shooting is a great way to have lots of fun with a great group of people.

First timers always get all the help they need. Check it out! On match days, the Rimfire Range is closed to shooters not participating in the match until the match is finished.
