Last year the RCGC hosted 19 weekly BIG50 events on Tuesday and Thursday along with our monthly scheduled shoots. There were some adjustments due to weather and staff availability. I am happy to announce that based on observations and a suggestion we will host 4 Winter BIG50 events in 2023. January 21st, February 18th, March 25th and April 8th. These dates are not set in stone just in case we have weather issues. If there is a schedule change, we will list it here, on Facebook and the ATA website. We will run the same format that we did in 2022 with doubles, singles and caps. Thanks for your interest and if you would like to help or need more info, please let me know!

This Saturday the Rockingham County Gun Club will host an ATA registered BIG50 trapshooting event. If you are a new member and would like to come shoot or just observe please attend. If trapshooting is something you are interested in this will give you a great idea how it is done. 

If you would like to learn how to score/referee or load targets, we are always looking to safely train members so that they can use the traps safely. These shoots will help some of our youth shooters get ready for the SCTP State Championship May 6th.  Every field will be utilized for that event, and we expect 75-100 youth participants for the 300-target shoot.
