Upcoming events

  • Eye and ear protection is mandatory on the ranges when shooting is in progress.
  • Shoot only during daylight hours.
  • Use of alcohol or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited any time while on club property.
  • Fully automatic firearms are not allowed on any range.
  • Treat every gun as if it were loaded. Keep barrel pointed in a safe direction.
  • Guns must not be loaded until you are on a shooting station and it is your turn to shoot.
  • Guns must be open when moving to and from a field and when walking between stations.
  • While in the gun rack, guns should be unloaded and actions open on autos and pumps. When removed from the rack, guns should be open for transport to the firing line or elsewhere.
  • Personal vehicles are not allowed down range. Only licensed drivers may operate RCGC vehicles.
  • Do not attempt to operate the trap machines until you have been instructed on the proper procedure for safe start up and shut down.
  • Only load ONE shell each time for singles and TWO shells each time for doubles.
  • Trap house #3 is for designated doubles only.
  • No shot larger than 7 ½ is permitted.
  • Pick up your hulls and dispose of properly.
  • Trap machines should be de-cocked, filled with targets and trap house door closed when done shooting. Target box cardboard is to be broken down and taken to the trash dumpster.
  • No one under the age of 16 is allowed in any trap house.
  • Record the number of rounds you shoot in the trap house logbook and make prompt payment.
  • First aid supplies and AED are available in the Trap Stat House and Club House.

Failure to comply to these rules or any unsafe behavior may result in your suspension or expulsion from RCGC.
