The wording on the chart showing the allowable ammunition on the 200-yd Range and Utility Pit has been changed. It used to say "Rifle-caliber centerfire except 0.50 BMG."
It now says "Any ammunition except 0.50 BMG."
This is to clarify where pistol caliber bottleneck cartridges may be used. The only bottleneck cartridge allowed in the pistol pits is the 357-Sig. If you are shooting any other bottleneck cartridge in a pistol pit, it is a safety violation that will cost you your membership.
This change is effective immediately. The web site has been updated. The temporary signs at the ranges will be replaced with permanent signs this year with the revised wording.
