Greetings,
Saturday May 6th, 2023, the Rockingham County Gun Club will host the SCTP State Trap Championships. This has become an annual event at RCGC and has been well attended. If previous attendance records hold up close to 100 youth shooters from around the state will compete. Along with coaches, parents, and grandparents there will be a crowd on the grounds on that day.
We are needing volunteers to ref/score and load trap houses and for those of you that have helped in the past we do appreciate it. If you have never volunteered for this event and are interested, we would be happy to train you to safely assist at this great competition.
More details will follow in the very near future as to when to arrive and what to bring. There will be a sign-up on the large dry erase board in the trap building and you can also reply through the website. Lunch will be provided, and Second Helpings Food Truck was the vendor in 2022 and got rave reviews from all the volunteers.
