This is a free basic handgun orientation class, designed to teach women participants the safe handling of their chosen handgun and basic marksmanship skills. Irvin Earles and Clem Ellis have been teaching the class for years and will be the instructors for the venue.
The class is open to club members and their families and friends; however, it is limited to fifteen women. Daughters 15+ years old can attend with their mothers but spouses will be asked to shoot at another venue.
Participants are required to bring:
- Eye and ear protection
- Centerfire pistol or revolver (cannot shoot rimfire ammunition at this event)
- 100 rounds of centerfire ammunition
- Folding chair
